| Our site is about family and friends. We know how important it is to keep families and friends together and to make and keep the connections to those we love! Here at My Bayan our desire is to make it easier for those who miss their families, relatives, and friends to keep in touch. "Bayan" is a Tagalog (the base Pilipino language) word meaning "country." And although Pilipino, the sentiment is the same for all of those who miss their family and friends back home: "We miss you and love you, and wish we could be together!" Our family is a mixed family. My wife Cecilia is a Filipina and I am Larry an American. One of our friends, Geetha, is Malaysian and she is married to Hilario who is from Mexico. Yet another friend, Yvonne, is Dutch and is married to her husband Paolo. Since my family is here is the U.S., if I miss them I can see them anytime. But I know if your family or friends are in another country it is much more difficult. So to make it easier we will try our best to make this site a place where you can find the services you need to keep in touch! Whether it be phone, travel, shipping, or lodging, you will find it here. We also plan to have a message blog where you can communicate with your loved ones!
